Women in Data Science (WiDS) aims at inspiring and educating data scientists worldwide. Originally organized for the first time in 2015 by Stanford University in the US, WiDS is now a Global Conference with 200+ regional events hosted by WiDS Ambassadors from all over the world.

Women in Data Science (WiDS) Timișoara is an independent event organized by WiDS Ambassadors from Timișoara, Romania.

The event features women data scientists from all sectors: industry, government, academia and civil society, and our sessions are centered around topics such as the ethics of data science, citizen watchdog activism, data and research methods education, smart city and data science in culture.
